Magnitude 4.0 earthquake south of Tres Pinos Wednesday night

TRES PINOS, Calif. (KION)

A Magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck the Central Coast Wednesday night, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The USGS says the quake happened at 7:33 p.m. 7.2 miles SSE of Tres Pinos. The earthquake was 19.8 miles directly West of Salinas.
