San Jose man arrested in Salinas area for allegedly distributing meth

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) A San Jose man was arrested near Salinas for allegedly distributing meth in the area.

The Monterey County Sheriff's Office Marijuana Enforcement Team said it had been investigating 31-year-old Andrew Magana.

Early Wednesday morning the Marijuana Enforcement Team with the Monterey County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division and the SWAT Team served a search warrant in the 400 block of Old Natividad Road. During the search, investigators said they found nearly a pound of meth, cash and guns.

Magana was booked into the Monterey County Jail on drug and gun-related charges.
