BRADLEY, Calif. (KION) One person was flown to the Fresno burn center with burn injuries as a result of a fire at a home in Bradley.

At around 11 p.m. Sunday, the South Monterey County Fire Protection District and Cal Fire received the call about a single-family home on fire on Dixie Street. Both agencies along with Camp Roberts Fire, AMR, San Luis Ambulance and the Monterey County Sheriff's Office responded with five engines and a water tender. Cal Fire said there were 15 firefighters at the scene.

When crews got there, they said the home was fully engulfed in flames, and one civilian was burned. No firefighters were injured.

Firefighters were able to control the fire within an hour and stayed for several hours to mop up.

The home was destroyed in the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.
