San Jose man killed in motorcycle crash
MOSS LANDING, Calif (KION-TV) -- The California Highway Patrol says a 28-year-old San Jose man has died after a crash on Highway 1 Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say the motorcyclist was pulled off to the side of southbound Highway 1 and attempted to make a u-turn to travel northbound.
Once the motorcyclist accelerated, the CHP says a large cargo truck crashed into the motorcyclist, ejecting him from his bike.
The motorcyclist died while receiving treatment at Natividad.
The CHP says no arrests have been made and so far alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
