Woman accused of burglarizing multiple homes and businesses arrested in Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION) Watsonville police arrested a woman accused of burglarizing at least eight homes and businesses in a three-day span.

Most of the burglaries happened near Main Street and E. Lake Avenue.

26-year-old Ariana Diaz was arrested when an officer saw her trying to break into a donut shop Sunday morning, according to police. They said that during an interview, she admitted to several burglaries. Police also found surveillance video that they said linked her to the crimes.

Diaz was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on several burglary and attempted burglary charges. Her bail is set at $25,000.
