Shooting reported at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard

UPDATED 12/4/19 7:49 p.m. Military says US sailor fatally shot two civilian Department of Defense employees at Pearl Harbor before suicide. A third employee was also wounded.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam said security is responding to a report of a shooting at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.

According to the CBS affiliate in Honolulu, at least three people are injured, two critically. A spokesperson tells them the situation has been contained, and a witness said he saw the gunman fatally shoot himself.

Because the incident is ongoing, the base is on lockdown.
