MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Sheriff's Office found three registered sex offenders who it said were found to be non-compliant.

The Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Team checked up on registered sex offenders on Saturday and Monday. The Sheriff's Office said most were found to be in compliance, but three were not.

The team visited 21-year-old Matthew Isiah Diaz at his home in the 600 block of Madera Avenue in Greenfield. The Sheriff's Office said he was violating the terms of his probation.

31-year-old Miguel Angel Morales Mendez was also violating the terms of his probation when he was found at his home in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Greenfield, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said the team visited 31-year-old Amalia Soto in the 10600 block of Merritt Street in Castroville. They said she was violating the terms of her parole.

The SAFE Team regularly checks that sex offenders comply with their registration requirements and/or terms of supervision.
