Cabrillo Fire burning off Highway One in San Mateo County

Firefighters are working to put out a fire south of Pescadero in San Mateo County.

According to Cal Fire, the Cabrillo Fire started at 5:48, Thursday October 24th. It’s burning off Highway One and Gazos Creek Road near an old mushroom farm, west of Boulder Creek.

The fire has scorched 95 acres with no containment.

Cal Fire has more than 20 engines, crews, water tenders and dozers on scene.

CAL FIRE San Mateo- Santa Cruz Unit is handling the fire.
