CHP: At-risk missing man found after Silver Alert issued

UPDATE 10/22/2019 12:00 p.m. A Silver Alert issued by the CHP for 85-year-old Jimmie Macrander has been deactivated. The CHP said he has been found.

PREVIOUS STORY: The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert in Santa Cruz, San Benito, Santa Clara and Alameda counties as officers look for a man who is missing and at-risk.

Officers are looking for 85-year-old Jimmie Macrander. He was last seen on Friday in San Jose, but he has a medical condition and may be disoriented.

The CHP said Macrander is 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 165 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He may be in a blue 2012 Ford Fusion with California license plate 6XXK027.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 911.
