Salinas stolen car pursuit ends in crash

A high speed chase through Salinas ended with a crash on North Sanborn Road and two arrests, according to the Salinas Police Department.

At around 7 p.m. Friday, police say they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the Chevrolet SUV, but the car took off north on Sanborn. The car crashed into another vehicle near Del Monte Avenue.

Two men were arrested in the reported stolen car.

Salinas Police tells KION that only minor injuries were reported in the car that was hit.
