Magnitude 3.6 earthquake hits Central Coast

A magnitude 3.6 quake struck just south of Hollister, right before 8:00 Thursday morning.

Currently it has a recorded depth of 10.1 km.

People in Salinas, Carmel, Santa Cruz and beyond report feeling the jolt.

We felt it here at the KION station, as well.

This quake comes on the 30th anniversary of the Loma Prieta quake, and many are on edge. No reports of damage or injury have been recorded.
