Sheriff’s Office looking for suspect in Watsonville wheelchair ramp theft

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who was caught on camera apparently stealing a wheelchair ramp from a Watsonville home.

In the video, the suspect pulls up in a light colored, single cab truck and loads the ramp into the bed.

The person in the video was seen wearing blue and black shorts with a white stripe and a black t-shirt.

The Sheriff’s Office said the family’s daughter uses the ramp to get into and out of the house.
