Major traffic delays on Highway 101 near Prunedale
A warning from Caltrans about long delays this Thursday morning on Highway 101 near Prunedale due to slope repair.
Caltrans said the number two right lane of the highway will be closed at Sala Road from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Electronic message signs are posted letting drivers know about the closures and California Highway Patrol officers are helping with traffic control.
Motorists can expect delays up to 20 minutes or more.
The slope repair work is being done to fix damage caused by winter storms.
