Pebble Beach fire burns home’s attic

Fire crews quickly knocked down an attic fire at a home in Pebble Beach on Monday night.

It happened around 7:22 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Broncho Road.

Five engines, a ladder truck and about 25 firefighters responded and contained the fire to the attic, preventing its spread to other parts of the home. Crews remained on scene to remove smoke from the home.

Firefighters from Pebble Beach, Cypress Fire, Monterey Fire, and Cal Fire responded.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
