Crews battle vegetation fire near Greenfield Wednesday afternoon
CalFire crews confirm a five acre vegetation fire has been contained at Elm and Metz near Greenfield.
Crews said five engines, a hand crew, a water tender and a battalion chief are on scene. Initial reports came in from CalFire saying the fire was two to three acres.
No road closures have been issued and no structures are involved. CalFire said crews will be on hand for the next few hours to mop up the scene.
