Hollister police arrest robbery suspect seen wearing a Halloween mask

Hollister police have arrested a man wanted for robbing a gas station. According to police, Ramiro Ramos, 20, walked into City Gas on Saturday, March 14 and told people inside he had a gun in his waistband.

Witnesses also told police Ramos was wearing a Jason hockey mask from the “Halloween” movies. Ramos then demanded money and lottery tickets. The clerk complied and Ramos took off.

Officers found Ramos near Jerry’s restaurant. They found money and lottery tickets in his possession and the mask was found nearby.

Ramos is facing robbery and resisting arrest charges.
