Watsonville Police: Man hit in head with hammer

A man is recovering after he was hit in the head with a hammer, according to Watsonville Police.

Officers said the victim took himself to the hospital.

The attack happened in the area of Main St. and E. Beach St. Saturday night.

Police said the victim will be okay, but was uncooperative with the investigation.
