UC Santa Cruz protests block campus, staff and students urged to stay away
A campus advisory has been sent out advising faculty, staff and students to stay away from UC Santa Cruz Thursday morning, amid more student protests.
Students are protesting tuition hikes and police brutality.
The advisory states access to the university is blocked right now and people should not come to campus today.
Protesters are currently blocking Coolidge and Hagar drives in Santa Cruz at the intersection. The west entrance is also blocked.
