Hollister search warrant leads to drug bust, police say

Hollister police said a search warrant issued Thursday on a property in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Road led them to evidence of a drug operation.

Officers said Jason Lucas Castro, 32, was arrested after drug agents and San Benito County Sheriff’s Office deputies found four pounds of marijuana, concentrated cannabis, meth, drug making tools, gun ammunition and packaging materials.

Castro was taken to the San Benito County Jail and was booked on drug and gun charges. Officers said Castro was currently out on bail pending other drug-related charges.
