Santa Cruz man accused of molesting teenage runaways
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man they believe may have molested several minors in the area.
Eric Ichtertz, 23, was arrested in May 2013 on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor. He was arrested again in Santa Cruz on May 22 on suspicion of child molestation and attempting to dissuade a victim from the previous lewd acts case from testifying by offering her money and drugs.
Deputies believe there may be more victims out there. Ichtertz is known to associate with teenage runaways in the Aptos and Capitola areas. The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with more information about this case to contact 471-1121.
