Pets of the Week for June 19, 2025
Our Neighborhood Pet Project and Animal Friends Rescue Project are proud to present this week's Pets of the Week.
LUSTRAL AND PROZAC
First, a two-for-one treat in brothers Lustral and Prozac.
These adventurous kitties are from a litter of five that are all named after some form of remedies for depression.
Prozac is considered the leader of the litter. The Russian Blue Mix is the first to dash out of their room to see what's going on in the other areas of the house.
Lustral, meanwhile, isn't too far behind and is equally eager to explore.
Both are looking for high energy homes with a family who wants to spend hours each day playing with them.
Any family would benefit from having the pair of cats adopted together!

Next adoption event is at the Soledad Night Market on Friday June 27 from 5 to 8 pm.
ONPP will also be at the Farmers Market in Salinas every First Saturday of the month.
KERMIT
Animal Friends Rescue Project introduces Kermit as their Pet of the Week.
Kermit is described as a goofy and joyful chihuahua with pure charm.
He's also described as a great lapdog and snuggle buddy who loves toys.
AFRP says Kermit would prefer a calm home with adults or a respectful, dog-savvy teen over the age of 13.
