Monterey firefighters gathering toy donations for struggling families

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) This holiday season, Monterey firefighters are holding a toy drive to help families in need.

Between Nov. 26 and Dec. 19, firefighters and the Pacific Grove Kiwanis will accept new, unwrapped toys that will be given to children in the community.

Toys can be dropped off at these Monterey Fire stations:

  • 600 Pacific Street, Monterey
  • 582 Hawthorne Street, Monterey
  • 401 Dela Vina Avenue, Monterey
  • 600 Pine Street, Pacific Grove
  • 6th and Mission Street, Carmel

Toys can also be dropped off at these community locations:

  • Robert H. Down Elementary School
  • First Awakenings
  • Pacific Grove Middle School
  • Pacific Grove High School
  • Pebble Beach Community Service District
  • Forest Grove Elementary School
  • Grand Avenue Flooring
  • Pacific Grove Cleaners
  • Paul's Drapery
  • Pacific Grove Tourist Information Center
