New COVID-19 testing site opens at Castroville Library

CASTROVILLE, Calif. (KION) A new state-supported COVID-19 testing site is opening Tuesday at the Castroville Library.

The site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. by appointment, but it will take walk-ins between 4 and 7 p.m.

Other state-supported sites in Monterey County include the Cesar Chavez Library and Seaside High School.

Planned Parenthood also runs a drive-thru testing site at Monterey Peninsula College on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pop-up testing sites are open Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Hicks Park/Greenfield Library from 2 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the King City Library from 2 to 6 p.m.
