Monterey County reports two more COVID-19 deaths

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Heath Department confirmed that two more people have died of COVID-19 Saturday, brining the county's death toll up to 91.

One patient was under the age of 55, and the other was between 55 and 64 years old.

It remains unknown whether or not either of these individuals had pre-existing health conditions.

55 of the county's 91 deaths have occurred in people age 65 or older. 71 of the county's deaths have occurred in people who identify as Hispanic or Latino.
