Pacific Grove approves citations for face covering violations

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KION) Pacific Grove is the latest Central Coast city to approve issuing citations to people not wearing face coverings in public.

The City Council approved the ordinance Wednesday night.

Fines are $100 for the first violation, $200 for the second and $500 for the third.

The ordinance goes into effect immediately.
