Monterey County Health Department confirms 12th COVID-19 death

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department confirmed the county's 12th COVID-19 death Sunday morning.

The victim was an adult with no underlying health issues. No other information regarding the individual will be released at this time.

949 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in Monterey County. 773 of those cases were found among Hispanic and Latino residents.
