Santa Cruz County deputies help elderly woman running low on supplies

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office shared how two of its deputies were able to help a member of the community Thursday.

The Sheriff's Office said that an elderly woman called in distress, saying she ran out of toilet paper and was low on food, so deputies McBride and Huntsman went to the store to get what she needed and delivered it to her house.

The Sheriff's Office is reminding everyone to check on elderly neighbors and loved ones.
