All California DMV offices closed starting Friday

(KION) The California Department of Motor Vehicles is canceling appointments and closing all offices starting Friday.

The DMV said the closure is due to the coronavirus and California's State of Emergency.

Many services will still be available through mail, online, kiosks, virtually and other means.

The DMV said it will post updates on its website during the closure.
