Gilroy Garlic Festival postponed until 2021
GILROY, Calif. (KION) Organizers of the Gilroy Garlic Festival said the event will be postponed until July 2021.
Organizers said we are facing an unprecedented national emergency with an unknown trajectory, so they decided to cancel this year's event.
The next Gilroy Garlic Festival will be held July 23 to 25 2021. It was previously scheduled for July 24 to 26 of this year.
Santa Clara County is one of several counties under a Shelter in Place order, and there is a statewide Stay at Home order.
On the last night of last year's festival, three people were killed and as many as 17 more were wounded when a shooter opened fire. This July will mark one year since the shooting.
