MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif.

On Friday March 20, The Food Bank for Monterey County and the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District are hoping to give a boost to families impacted by school closures.

Families can come pick up bags of groceries, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at two locations:

  • Los Arboles Middle School located at 294 Hillcrest Ave, Marina
  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School of the Arts located at 1713 Broadway Ave, Seaside.

Schools in the district remain closed through April 8 as Monterey County is under a "shelter-in-place" order because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
