Health Department offers free COVID-19 testing at Castroville library

CASTROVILLE, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department is offering free COVID-19 testing at the Castroville Branch of the Monterey County Free Library.

The testing is open to county residents on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.

The health department said no appointment is needed and patients do not need to have symptoms.

They said the test does not affect immigration status, and a doctor's note and health insurance are not needed.
