SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION) San Benito County's Interim Public Health Officer announced that the county will allow expanded personal care services to reopen starting Friday.

Last Friday, the State of California released guidance for expanded personal services and gave counties approval to start reopening them.

Businesses allowed to reopen will include nail salons, estheticians, skin care, cosmetology, electrology, microblading, waxing, body art, tattoo parlors, body piercing shops and massage therapy.

The county is asking businesses to self-certify that they are complying with state guidelines by posting the Self-Certification Placard, which can be found here.
