At least one employee tests positive for COVID-19 at Eden Valley Care Center, no current cases

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION) Eden Valley Care Center in Soledad has had at least one and fewer than 11 health care workers test positive for COVID-19, according to a report from the California Department of Public Health.

No residents are listed as testing positive for COVID-19.

The case(s) are listed as cumulative, so since January 1, the facility has had at least one, but fewer than 11 cases among health care workers. The last full set of data released by the CDPH was issued on May 14, and at that time, no cases were listed.

The CDPH said the facility reports no current positive cases among healthcare workers.

KION reached out to Eden Valley Care Center and was referred to health officials.
