SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION) San Benito County health officials announced Wednesday that two people who were diagnosed with coronavirus in the county have recovered.

The two were diagnosed last month.

San Benito County Public Health Services said it is in contact with neighboring counties as well as state and federal agencies to monitor the situation as it relates to coronavirus.

In a statement, the agency said its efforts have been to contain the infection and keep it from spreading at this point by isolating those who are sick and separating those who have been exposed for a 14 day quarantine.

The agency said communities should prepare for more widespread infections by practicing good hygiene, staying home when sick, getting information from trusted sources, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, making a household plan and planning for possible routine disruption if it continues to spread.
