Weather So Nice, You’ll Want To Kiss It

High pressure will nudge in from the southwest as we head into the weekend, which will lead to slight warmup and a slight decrease in low clouds. The ridge will shift back east out of the weekend as a trough of low pressure digs down the West Coast. The initial trough will move into the Pacific Northwest, but a second area of low pressure will develop off the California coast and help enhance a period of cooler, cloudier weather for the area next week.

Friday: Mostly cloudy early, then becoming mostly sunny on the coast and sunny inland. A touch warmer, with coastal highs in the mid-60s to mid-70s and low 80s to around 104ºF inland. Breezy for inland valleys in the afternoon.

Overnight: Low clouds for the coast with fog possible. Expect coastal lows in the mid-50s with low to mid-50s inland.
