Warm weather returns

The last week of April starts with a short warm up, as higher pressure strengthens over the west coast. Tuesday looks to be the warmest day this week.  On Wednesday, coastal areas will begin to cool. Cooler temperatures are expected in all areas Thursday and Friday.

Overnight: Mostly clear with a few clouds possible near the coastline. Lows in the 40s-50s for most.

Tuesday: Sunny and warmer after a few coastal low clouds. Daytime highs will push into the 70s and 80s on the coast with 80s-90s inland.

Wednesday: A few clouds near the coast, otherwise sunny. Highs in the 60s-70s on the coast and 70s-80s inland.

Extended:  Temperatures will continue to drop through the weekend. Seasonably cool with through the end of the week. Slight chance for rain on Sunday.


The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for May 2nd-8th calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and BELOW normal precipitation.
