Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch food truck serves Bay Area

The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch food truck is bringing ocean-friendly seafood to the Bay Area.

It will be in the area through September to raise awareness about keeping seafood options ocean-friendly and bringing awareness to the options available.

The food truck’s menu was created with Little Green Cyclo in San Francisco and features West Coast rockfish or a vegan option. Customers can order tacos, butter lettuce wraps or Banh Mi sandwiches. The fish preparation comes with three options: chili lime, tamarind or Cajun-style, and the vegan substitute is butternut squash with kale and candied walnuts.

The truck will be staying up in the Bay Area, but those planning to be in that area can find times and locations at www.montereybayaquarium.org/love.
