Cal Fire fighting fire in East San Jose
UPDATE 7/15/2019 1:40 p.m. Cal Fire says the Aborn fire is still at 47 acres and is now 63% contained. One out building was destroyed, but no homes were destroyed.
Power is off in the area around the fire while PG&E tries to isolate the power to the structure affected.
UPDATE 7/15/2019 12:50 p.m. The Aborn fire in East San Jose has grown to 47 acres, but forward progress has stopped.
Cal Fire said no injuries have been reported, but two buildings were destroyed. There are no mandatory evacuations, but those at home are asked to shelter in place.

KION’s sister station in the Bay Area reported that the fire reached a fourth alarm at around 11:50 a.m., and Cal Fire is responding on the ground and in the air.
