such serious crimes.”* both ramos and garcia are expected to be in court tomorrow. the arrests come the same day police are expected to meet with the del monte beach neighborhood association to talk about safety in the area. new details tonight about the stabbing investigation in gilroy monday. police say the victims of the attack are expected to survive. according to investigators, a group of men got into a fight on monterey road. officers found a man with a stab wound.. and a second victim with a head injury. police don’t believe this is a random attack or gang-related. officers say they ‘re still searching for the suspects and are asking for witnesses to contact them. santa cruz sheriff’s deputies are asking for your help cracking a nearly 5 year old cold case. back in september 2010, investigators found a body along casserly road in watsonville. they believe the victim had died about 2 to 4 weeks before. deputies are asking anyone with information about the victim.. or the incident to contact them. picking up the pieces. the food bank for monterey county continues to survey the damage from saturday’s arson. at the same time, they’re still helping to feed people in the county. news channel 5’s mariana hicks is live at the food bank with more. the people who run the food bank say even a devastating fire won’t stop them from serving people in the community. today, volunteers held an emergency food assistance event in soledad. they’re working out of a temporary warehouse right now… and theyre hoping to get this facility fully functional next week. they admit, it’s a tall order.. since the suspected arsonist caused half a million dollars in damage when the food bank’s four refrigerator trucks and dock were destroyed. while help is slowly coming in, even the mayor of salinas is begging
