Lebanon protesters sing ‘Baby Shark’ to toddler
Lebanon may be experiencing a historic wave of dissent, but that did not stop a group of protesters from sharing a sweet moment with a toddler.
The child’s mother, Eliane Jabbour, said she asked protesters to quiet down after her son Robin woke up and was confused by the loud noises and crowd.
When the protesters heard that Jabbour had a small child with her, they broke into the popular children’s song “Baby Shark” and danced around the car.
Jabbour said Robin looked confused in the video, but now starts laughing when he watches it.
By Tuesday, protesters had entered a sixth day with demonstrators putting pressure on the government to tackle corruption and enact long-promised economic reforms.
