Pet of the Week: Meet Sapphire!
Meet Sapphire! Originally a stray from Hitchcock Road Animal Services, Sapphire has captured the hearts of everyone she meets. This 1-year, 9-month-old confident pup is bursting with energy and searching for an active family to keep up with her both mentally and physically.
Her foster has shared that Sapphire has proven to be an agility natural, having attended classes with California Canine. Outings are among her favorite activities, showcasing her love for exploration, and we can't forget her love for the water (this makes bath-time easy!).
Given her age and energy, Sapphire would thrive in a home with another energetic canine companion. While she has expressed positive interest in cats, a gradual introduction is recommended. An adult adopter or a family with older children would be best with Sapphire. We are looking for experienced owners who will continue her positive reinforcement training!
