Weekend Winds
The
next weather system will slide down the coast this weekend. Ahead of it, winds
shift back onshore and will begin to cool the area. However, we’ll see a rapid
switch to offshore winds behind the system on Sunday. Initially, offshore winds
will warm coastal cities, but then more seasonable weather can be expected for
the early part of next week. Some warming expected by late in the week.
Saturday: Low clouds and fog along the coast in the morning,
becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. Cooler on the coast with highs in the
50s-60s with 60s to low 70s inland. Breezy at times, especially on the exposed
coast and over the ridgetops.
